On 31 December 2024,H.E.Mr.Wang Xuefeng,Chinese Ambassador to Denmark, met with Professor Hans Thybo,winner of the Chinese Government Friendship Award for the Year of 2024.Professor Thybo is currently an Academician of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters.

Ambassador Wang extended his warm congratulations and sincere appreciation to Professor Thybo for the tremendous contribution he has made for the cooperation between China and Denmark in the field of geosciences and talent training, and shared with him some key takeaways of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of CPC on further strengthening international cooperation in science and technology and the latest developments in science and technology cooperation between the two countries. Ambassador Wang sincerely hopes that scientists from both countries could make better use of the 75th anniversary of the China-Denmark diplomatic ties to further expand friendly exchanges and productive cooperation and make even greater contributions to the science and technology progress of mankind.

Professor Thybo said that he will continue to cooperate with Chinese scientists to expand science and technology cooperation for the benefits of our two countries and the friendship of our two peoples.
