Notice on Requirements for Epidemic Response Measures for China-bound Travelers from Denmark

In view of the current situation of COVID-19 and to facilitatepeople-to-people exchanges,from 29 April 2023 (local time), Rapid Antigen Test (RAT, including Self-test kit) result or PCR test will both be acceptable for passengers flying from Denmark to China, and passengers can only travel to China when the test result is negative. Passengers need to report the test result to China Customs before boarding.

The Chinese Embassy in Denmark has updated its Guide on Epidemic Prevention and Control Measures for China-bound Travelers. To ensure a smooth journey, please read the guide carefully.


Guide on Epidemic Response Measures For China-bound Travelers from Denmark

I. Travelers need to take a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT, including self-test kit) or nucleic acid PCR test within 48 hours before boarding, and can only travel to China when the test result is negative. Those who test positive need to postpone their travel until they get a negative result.

II. Travelers need to declare negative test result to China Customs by filling the Health Declaration Form onthe WeChat mini-program of China Customs (scan the QR code below), at https://htdecl.chinaport.gov.cn or via the China Customs APP.

III. Airlines will not check PCR or RAT test result of the passengers before boarding.

IV. Mask wearing is required throughout the flight for proper personal protection.

V. Upon arrival in China, travelers need to use the China Customs health declaration code to complete entry procedures. Following health declaration and regular health inspection, travelerswill be able to enter China. Travelers with problems in health declaration or symptoms such as feverare required to take a test by China Customs.Those who test positive will needto self-quarantine at home or place of residence or seek medical treatment as required. Those who test negative will go throughroutine quarantine inspection by China Customs.

VI. After entry, travelers from Denmark need to strictly abide by the local epidemic prevention and control requirements.
