Recently, certain Danish media have published a series of articles smearing and slandering China over the so-called “ China’s global oppression”. We strongly deplore and firmly oppose the groundless accusations and irresponsible reporting in these articles. The so-called investigation referenced in the reports is full of lies and prejudice. It is unfortunate that some ill-intentioned elements are obsessed with fabricating and spreading such false narratives as “global oppression”, engaging in political manipulation and baseless smears against China. Such clumsy plots have been repeated time and again, but lies will ultimately be defeated by facts. We urge the relevant parties to abandon the Cold War mentality and ideological bias, stop making groundless attacks against China, and contribute to a healthy China-Denmark relationship. We also expect more objectivity, sense of responsibility and professionalism from Danish Media concerning reports on China.
