(Updated on 6 November 2020)
2020-11-05 00:46

To prevent cross-border transmission of COVID-19, starting from 7 November 2020, all Chinese and foreign passengers bound for China will be required to take nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests and obtain corresponding negative test results (referred to herein as "double-negative test results"). With double-negative test results, Chinese passengers should apply for a green health code with a "HS" mark (referred to herein as HS QR code), and foreign passengers should apply for a certified health declaration form with a green health code "HDC" (referred to herein as HDC QR code) before boarding. The specific requirements are as follows:

I. Test Requirements

1. Passengers bound for China by direct flights must take nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests at a registered testing institution in Denmark within 48 hours before boarding.

2. Passengers bound for China via connecting flights must take nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests in Denmark within 48 hours before boarding, and then take both tests for the second time in their last transit country within 48 hours before boarding the plane to China.

II. Applying for HS QR code or HDC QR code

1. Chinese passengers must upload to the WeChat Health Code app the pictures of their double-negative test results, which will be examined and verified by the Chinese Embassy in Denmark, and then they will be issued a green HS QR code. Passengers must show the green code within its validity to the airlines.

For Q&A about applying for HS QR code, please click https://hr.cs.mfa.gov.cn/help_two/help-two/hs.html

2. Foreign passengers should go to https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/ to fill in online information, declare the health status and upload double-negative test results, which will be examined and verified by the Chinese Embassy in Denmark, and then they will be issued a green HDC QR code. When boarding, the green code, electronic or printed out, must be within its validity and be shown to the airlines.

III. Reminders

1. Please read and follow the above requirements carefully. Without double-negative test results, an HS QR code or an HDC QR code, you will not be able to board the flight to China.

2. The test results report must bear the passenger's names, date of birth or numbers of the international travel document, test type, test sampling time, test results, and the FULL NAME and registration numbers of the testing institution as well as the seal of the testing institution or the signature of the testing staff.

Only the results of the Covid-19 PCR/Nucleic Acid Test and the IgM anti-body tests are acceptable. The results of other Covid-19 tests, such as Antigen Test or IgG anti-body tests, are not acceptable.

3. The above requirements do not apply to children under 3.

4. Nucleic acid and IgM anti-body testing are not available in the transit zone of Kastrup airport in Denmark. To avoid getting stranded at the airport, please be cautious when choosing to fly to China via Denmark.

Please see https://coronasmitte.dk/en/entry-into-denmark for the latest policies regarding entry into Denmark.

5. The validity of HS QR code and HDC QR code is determined by the sampling time of the tests Please apply for the HS QR code or HDC QR immediately upon receiving the tests results, which will be examined and verified by the Chinese Embassy even on weekends and public holiday.

6. As testing may not be available in the transit zones at the airport in transit country, please be cautious when choosing to fly to China via connecting flights. Passengers are advised to consult the Chinese embassy or consulate in the transit country about the latest policies to avoid getting stranded in the transit country due to denial of entry or failure to get valid health code or health declaration form.

7. Passengers who provide false certificates or information will bear corresponding legal responsibilities.

The above requirements will take effect at 0:00 on 7 November 2020 Danish Time. In case of any discrepancy between this Notice and the previous relevant notices, this Notice shall prevail.
