On June 30, Chinese Ambassador to Denmark H.E. Wang Xuefeng met with Mr. Thor Stadil, Founder of the THORNICO Group.

Ambassador Wang highly commended the contributions made by THORNICO's subsidiaries, including Ovodan Foods, to local economic development in China and to China-Denmark economic and trade cooperation. He noted that this year marks the beginning of the implementation of China's 15th Five-Year Plan. China remains committed to pursuing high-quality development, expanding high-standard opening-up, and fostering a first-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based and internationalized. It is hoped that the THORNICO Group will seize the new opportunities arising from China's development, expand its investment in China, further deepen its presence in the Chinese market, and achieve mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation.

Mr. Stadil said that China, with its enormous market potential, well-developed industrial and supply chains, and strong innovation capacity, has become one of THORNICO's most important strategic markets worldwide. The Group is optimistic about the prospects for cooperation with China and stands ready to further increase its investment, deepen localized production and business operations, and enhance its global competitiveness.
