On June 16, Chinese Ambassador to Denmark H.E. Wang Xuefeng met with Lars Sandahl Sørensen, CEO of the Confederation of Danish Industry.

Ambassador Wang highly commended the Confederation of Danish Industry for its longstanding positive contributions to development of China-Denmark relations and bilateral economic and trade cooperation. He noted that this year marks the beginning of the implementation of China's 15th Five-Year Plan. China remains committed to advancing high-standard opening-up, continuously fostering a market-oriented, law-based and internationalized business environment, and providing broad market space and development opportunities for countries around the world, including Denmark. He expressed the hope that the Confederation of Danish Industry would continue to play its leading role in the business community, encouraging more Danish enterprises to deepen their engagement in the Chinese market, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.

Mr. Sørensen stated that China has made remarkable achievements in economic and social development that have attracted worldwide attention. The Danish side attaches great importance to cooperation with China. The Confederation of Danish Industry stands ready to serve as a bridge and link between the two countries, supporting enterprises from both countries in deepening exchange and cooperation, and jointly promoting China-Denmark economic and trade relations to a new level.
