2026-05-02 18:35

From April 21st to 23rd, Chinese Ambassador to Denmark, H.E. Wang Xuefeng, was invited to visit Danish company including Arla, Grundfos and Lego in Jutland and engaged in in-depth exchanges with their senior executives.

Ambassador Wang noted that currently China-Denmark relations are developing smoothly, with bilateral trade growing continuously, mutual investment progressing steadily, and cooperation between Chinese and Danish companies becoming closer. The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) explicitly put forward building a new system for higher-level open economy, which creates more opportunities for deepening cooperation between China and Denmark in sectors such as trade, investment, green development, and agri-food. This year China's economy has kicked off a good start, with GDP in the first quarter growing by 5% year-on-year, showing a steady and positive long-term development momentum. It is hoped that Danish companies including Arla, Grundfos and Lego would strengthen their confidence in cooperation with China, increase their investment in China, further cultivate the Chinese market, and achieve mutual benefits and win-win.

The three Danish companies expressed their great importance attached to the Chinese market, the optimism on China's economic prospects, and the willingness to further strengthening economic and trade cooperation with China.
