On April 27, Chinese Ambassador to Denmark H. E. Mr. Wang Xuefeng met with Professor David Dreyer Lassen, Rector of the University of Copenhagen.

Ambassador Wang noted that the education and research cooperation between China and Denmark enjoys a solid foundation and fruitful achievements, bringing tangible benefits to both countries. This year marks the start of China's 15th Five-Year Plan. China will further advance high-level international cooperation in scientific research and education, and share the opportunities of Chinese modernization with all countries around the world, including Denmark. He also expressed the hope that the University of Copenhagen and other Danish universities will deepen exchanges and cooperation with China so as to jointly enable knowledge, science and technology to better benefit the two peoples.

Rector Lassen stated that the University of Copenhagen remains committed to further consolidating its cooperation with China, welcomes more Chinese students to study in Denmark, and encourages Danish students to pursue education and research in China, so as to achieve win-win results in China and Denmark cooperation in research and education.
