On August 22, 2024, Ambassador Wang Xuefeng visited the State of Green in Denmark and met with CEO Finn Mortensen to exchange views on China-Denmark green development cooperation.

Ambassador Wang pointed out that the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee had drawn up strategic plans to further deepen reform comprehensively to advance Chinese modernization. Personally planned by President Xi Jinping, China's green development has made remarkable achievements. China and Denmark share the same concept of green development, demonstrating strong complementarity and great potential for cooperation. Last year, the two governments released “the Green Joint Work Programme (2023-2026)”, bringing new opportunities for green development cooperation. It is hoped that the State of Green will continuously make greater contributions to foster the green development cooperation between the two countries.

Mr. Mortensen introduced the State of Green’s cooperation with China, noting that the Chinese government has adopted a set of policy measures to promote green development and achieved great success. The State of Green is willing to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China in the field of green development to deliver greater benefits to both peoples.
