On October 16, the Chinese Embassy in Denmark hosted a Coffee Morning to promote the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women. The event was attended by Ambassador Wang Xuefeng and Mme. Tong Xin, several female ambassadors based in Denmark and Ambassador Spouse Group (ASG）members, as well as Minister Su Liya, Counselor Lei Hongmei, and female diplomats from the Chinese Embassy.

Mme. Tong shared with the audience the development of women's cause in China with vivid examples and specific data. She also noted that the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women had been successfully held in Beijing a few days earlier. President Xi Jinping attended the meeting and delivered an important speech, putting forward four key proposals for promoting the development of women's cause worldwide and announcing five practical measures China will take to further support the global women's cause over the next five years. President Xi Jinping’s remarks fully demonstrate China's responsibility as a major country in the new era.

The guests highly appreciated President Xi Jinping's important speech and praised China's positive contributions to leading and advocating the development of women's cause worldwide. They also watched a promotional video for the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women: "Shared Future, Blossoming Lives", and experienced Chinese traditional costumes, mooncake making, and calligraphy.
