Ambassador Feng Tie presents Credentials to Her Majesty the Queen

On June 3, 2019, Ambassador Feng Tie presented Credentials to Her Majesty Queen Margareth II at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen.

Ambassador Feng conveyed the cordial greetings and best wishes from President Xi Jinping to Her Majesty the Queen. He expressed his appreciation for  Her Majesty's receiving Credentials on the first working day after he arrived in Denmark, which reflected the importance that Denmark attached to China-Denmark relations. Ambassador Feng said that the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Denmark has ushered in a new decade and the two countries will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties next year. He felt it a great privilege to be Chinese Ambassador to Denmark at this time and was well aware of his responsibilities. He would work with Danish colleagues and friends to promote the continuous in-depth development of bilateral ties.

The Queen asked Ambassador Feng to convey her sincere greetings and best wishes to President Xi Jinping. She welcomed Ambassador Feng to take his new role and wished him a fruitful and pleasant tenure in Denmark.

Earlier that morning, Ambassador Feng presented the copies of his Credentials to Mr. Michael Zilmer-Johns, Chief of Protocol of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Feng arrived in Copenhagen on the evening of May 31. Officials from the Danish Ministry Foreign Affairs received him at the airport.
