Ambassador Deng Ying attends events with Chinese Delegation briefing the 19th CPC National Congress in Denmark

On December 11, the Chinese delegation briefing the achievements of 19th CPC National Congress, headed by Li Shulei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, held briefing sessions in Copenhagen. Chinese Ambassador Deng Ying and over 50 guests including Danish officials, business leaders, scholars, think tank members were present. Deputy Secretary Li Shulei introduced the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, the historical development in China and the changes of main contradiction in Chinese society over the past five years. He elaborated on Xi Jinping Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, analyzing the theory, cultural origins and practical foundations of this thought, as well as emphasizing it is the new development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and offers Chinese wisdom and a Chinese approach to solving the problems facing mankind. The delegation also explained Xi Jingping Thought on "a community of shared future for mankind". The Danish side speaks highly of the achievements and significance of the 19th CPC National congress, which not only draws a new strategic blueprint for the nation, but also brings more opportunities for Denmark and China to work together. Deputy Secretary Li presented English version of the Report of the 19th CPC National Congress to the guests.

Deputy Secretary Li Shulei and his delegation visited Denmark from 10 to 13 December at the invitation of the Danish Parliament. Accompanied by Ambassador Deng Ying, Deputy Secretary Li Shulei and his delegation also met with chairman of Danish Conservative Party and Minister of Justice Søren Pape Poulsen, Secretary General of Danish Liberal Party  Claus Søgaard-Richter, Ombudsman of Danish Parliamentary Jørgen Steen Sørensen and some Danish experts and scholars.
