On 26th November 2024, H.E. Mr. Wang Xuefeng, Chinese Ambassador to Denmark, visited United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and met with Executive Director Jorge Moreira da Silva.

Ambassador Wang stated that China is willing to work closely with UNOPS and other UN agencies, taking the important concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind and the "three major global initiatives" proposed by President Xi Jinping as guiding principles, and jointly bring more benefits to people around the world and make greater contributions to peace and development of humankind.

Jorge Moreira da Silva spoke highly of China's important role in responding to global challenges and offering foreign aid, and expressed UNOPS’s willingness to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China.
