On January 3, to answer the question from some Danish media regarding Anders Fogh Rasmussen’s visit to Taiwan，the spokesperson of the Embassy made the following remarks:

The Taiwan question is entirely China’s internal affair. The one-China principle is the common understanding of the international community and a basic norm in international relations. There is only one China in the world, Taiwan is an inalienable part of China’s territory, and the government of the People’s Republic of China is the sole legal government representing the whole of China. We have noticed that the Danish side has reiterated that Denmark’s one-China policy is firm.
